Cybersecurity for energy and infrastructure

Warning lights are flashing red

16 October 2025, 15:00 – 16:00 BTS

The cyber threat landscape is evolving rapidly, driven by a surge in new laws, regulations, and government interventions. Oversight, investigations, and enforcement are intensifying, and organisations are facing much more stringent standards and heightened scrutiny through assurance and audit processes.

For the energy and infrastructure sectors, the stakes are especially high. The impact of cyber incidents in these industries can be both severe and highly visible, affecting public safety, economic stability, and national security. Decision-making often spans legal, regulatory, political, technical, and financial domains, requiring rapid coordination between senior executives, General Counsel, Chief Information Security Officers, and asset management stakeholders. This complexity can hinder swift, strategic responses during the critical moments of a cybersecurity incident.

Our panel will explore how leading infrastructure and energy operators and investors are adapting to meet this challenge - arming themselves with the governance, tools and strategies needed to respond effectively. We’ll share insights from across the market, including:

  • Public case studies of cybersecurity failures in critical national infrastructure
  • Behind-the-scenes stories that highlight the urgency of preparedness
  • Practical steps organisations can take to mitigate risk and respond effectively to cyber threats
