Vani Parti is an experienced litigator who represents employers in all aspects of employment-related litigation before federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels. Her practice focuses on wage-and-hour class, collective, and private attorney general representative actions. Her litigation experience also includes defense of employment discrimination, retaliation, and harassment claims.

Vani regularly counsels clients on compliance measures and the development of employment policies and procedures. Vani has developed particular expertise in prevailing wage law, including the Davis-Bacon Act and related statutes, and is highly experienced in advising clients on worker classification issues and misclassification litigation. She is actively participating in guiding her clients through compliance with prevailing wage and apprenticeship requirements introduced under the Inflation Reduction Act.

Vani has presented and trained employers on a wide range of topics, including prevailing wage compliance, sexual harassment, arbitration agreements, employment-related issues impacting start-ups, and best practices for hiring and termination procedures.

  • Represented one of the world's largest car rental providers in successfully defeating class certification in a wage-and-hour class and representative action
  • Represented a national corporation providing project management and staff support to federal, state, and local governments and successfully defeated class certification of Section 1981 claims
  • Represented a national healthcare entity and its affiliates in various matters, including defense of representative actions and discrimination claims
