About

Sienna is a pragmatic, commercially minded finance attorney with an emphasis on the energy transition and renewable energy transactions.

Sienna's diverse finance, tax, and corporate background allows her to maintain an overarching strategic focus on optimizing the economic benefits of renewable energy transactions at all layers of the capital stack. Her representative matters range from complex investments (e.g., tax equity partnerships, joint ventures, minority and preferred equity investments, tax credit transfers) and bespoke financing arrangements to operational guidance and sector-specific or first-of-their-kind commercial contracts.

Sienna also has extensive experience navigating matters arising under the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, including advising on the structuring, oversight, and execution of numerous international reorganizations and restructurings involving global renewable-energy-related manufacturing companies and their supply chains. She regularly advises on prohibited foreign entity (PFE), foreign entity of concern (FEOC), domestic content, and tax credit eligibility issues, risks, documentation, and strategies.

Sienna works with clients across the full spectrum of energy technologies, with both front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter applications, including solar, wind, battery storage, biogas, nuclear (small modular reactors, or SMRs), and geothermal.
