DLA Piper advises private investors on development of BTS logistics center for Maxcess

The law firm DLA Piper has advised private investors represented by Albaluna Investments on a development management agreement with Panattoni for the construction of a modern built-to-suit warehouse and production facility for Maxcess.

Maxcess is a global leader in the manufacturing of industrial automation systems and components for handling a wide range of web materials, with more than 70 years of experience in the industry. The company provides optimization and automation of production and processing lines. The Maxcess Group’s activities focus not only on system distribution, but also on service support in more than 90 countries. Maxcess has been operating in Poland since 2006. The dynamic growth of the company’s operations in Poland has resulted in the need for the construction of a larger and more modern warehouse and production area.

The project will be built near Gniezno (a city in central-western Poland) and will include manufacturing, warehouse and office space with a total usable area above 13,000 sqm. The new location will become Maxcess’ headquarters and will employ up to 280 people, meeting all the needs of the future tenant.

The transaction was led by Paulina Galicka, supported by Milena Nerwińska and Mikołaj Zenkiewicz, under the partner supervision of Michał Pietuszko of DLA Piper Poland’s real estate team.

This is the sixth development project carried out by DLA Piper’s Warsaw office in cooperation with Albaluna Investments, a consultancy specialising in the management of real estate investment processes.

We would like to thank the investors for their trust and Albaluna Investments, composed of: Jacek Koprowski, Włodzimierz Bieliński and Radosław Wiśniewski, for the fruitful cooperation.
