DLA Piper expands Investment Funds Practice with the addition of Nick Sheets

DLA Piper is pleased to welcome Nick Sheets as a partner in the Investment Funds Practice. He will be based in the firm’s Palo Alto office.

Nick advises US, Asian, and other global institutional sponsors in connection with the structuring, formation and offering of private investment funds, as well as in co-investments and secondaries transactions. He also represents institutional investors in connection with their investments in private investment funds. His practice focuses on a range of strategies including private equity, growth capital, venture capital, real estate, credit, fund-of-funds and social impact funds.

Nick is the most recent of several strategic hires since 2023, which include Venera Ziegler (New York), David Kreisler (Boston), Andrew Kreisberg (San Diego), Mara Topping, Kate McCullough, Evan Zhao, David Solander (all Washington, DC), and Terry Davis (Atlanta).
