DLA Piper advises ForFarmers on animal feed joint venture with KPS Food Group in Poland

DLA Piper has advised ForFarmers, a leading European company offering complete feed solutions to the livestock farming industry, on the formation of a joint venture with KPS Food Group in Poland.

As part of the agreement, the two businesses will operate under the name ForFarmers Polska combining ForFamers' Tasomix animal feed operations with KPS Food Group’s poultry farms, slaughterhouses, and food processing facilities.

ForFarmers will acquire a controlling 50.5% stake in the joint venture, which will be fully consolidated within the ForFarmers Group. The Enterprise Value of ForFarmers Polska will be PLN 2.192 billion (EUR 520 million).

Completion of the transaction is subject to relevant regulatory approvals.
