  • Represented a high net worth individual in front of the Oregon Department of Revenue, securing a significant income tax refund related to complex issue of credit for taxes paid in another state
  • Represented a large, multistate health organization in front of the Oregon Bureau of Labor and Industries, abating penalties in excess of a million dollars and working with the company's payroll tax service provider to address systemic challenges
  • Represented a life sciences company in front of the New Department of Taxation and Finance in securing a no-change in its Metropolitan Commuter Transportation Mobility Tax audit and assisting the company and its payroll tax provider to ease systemic friction
  • Represented a Fortune 500 company in front of the New Mexico Department of Workforce Solutions, securing a no change in its payroll tax audit and assisting the company in addressing errors with its payroll tax software

  • Represented a gig-economy company in its ongoing worker classification dispute with the California Employee Development Department

  • Advised a California non-profit on the preparation of its form 990 following an embezzlement and FBI investigation.
