Celebrating 20 years of global pro bono assistance
For two decades, New Perimeter, our nonprofit affiliate, has worked to advance and strengthen institutions in support of a more just, sustainable, and prosperous world. Since its founding in 2005, more than 1,600 lawyers from our global offices have participated in more than 300 projects in 55 countries, including training 20,000 lawyers and students.
Collaborating with charitable organizations, governments, and academic institutions, New Perimeter has developed long-term projects designed to strengthen legal systems; improve the skills of judges, lawyers, and law students; encourage economic growth; and promote the rule of law.
New Perimeter projects are managed by full-time pro bono lawyers and staffed by multi-jurisdictional teams from across the firm. As part of our collaborations, which often last several years, our lawyers frequently travel to work alongside clients in their own countries.
