DLA Piper has advised BearingPoint on the sale of its minority stake in its former Regulatory Technology (RegTech) business unit, together with Nordic Capital.
BearingPoint is a globally independent management and technology consultancy headquartered in Amsterdam, with approximately 6,200 employees at locations in 24 countries. The company regularly advises businesses in the areas of strategy, technology, and digital transformation.
The former RegTech business unit offers international solutions for financial institutions and authorities, focusing on reporting processes. With over 30 years of experience, the business unit, also known as Regnology, develops innovative and efficient technologies to improve data quality and process automation.
In 2020, DLA Piper, led by partner Dr Thomas Schmuck, advised BearingPoint on the sale of a majority stake in RegTech to Nordic Capital.
