  • Advised on the IP issues arising out of a proposed partnership between a major US cloud computing company and a major PRC technology and media company, including IP licensing, technology transfer, and branding and trademark issues
  • Assisted a major global fast food company with the restructuring of its IP licensing structure in the PRC, Hong Kong and Macau, as part of a large scale corporate and franchising transaction
  • Assisted a major global fast food company with an IP asset transfer, involving complex IP and data ownership and licensing arrangements
  • Assisted a major US beverage group with building and protecting its PRC trademark portfolio, including taking enforcement action against pirate trademark and domain name activity
  • Assisted a Swiss-Emirati luxury conglomerate regarding IP protection in respect of a number of premium luxury consumer products, including seeking utility model, design and trademark protection in jurisdictions worldwide
  • Assisted a major Hong Kong telecommunication and retail group with IP issues relating to a proposed e-wallet service with a major Chinese technology company, including negotiating a complex license of several high value brands and trademarks
