About

Taylor Dodson is a litigation associate in the firm’s Product Liability and Class Actions group, where she brings significant experience managing complex, high-stakes matters, including multidistrict litigations (MDLs) and parallel state actions in mass torts. Taylor is adept at strategically structuring MDLs from their inception, ensuring that each phase of litigation is aligned with her clients’ business objectives and long-term interests. She understands the unique challenges facing companies whose products are at the center of litigation, and she is committed to protecting their innovations and reputations.

Taylor’s practice spans the full spectrum of litigation, from initial investigation and case pool management to bellwether analysis and selection, discovery, motions practice, and trial. She is recognized for her ability to develop and present complex scientific evidence, and for her collaborative approach to case strategy. Taylor is valued by colleagues and clients alike for her commitment to excellence, her supportive leadership style, and her ability to navigate the pressures of high-profile litigation.

Before joining the firm, Taylor served as a trial attorney at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia, representing juveniles charged with serious felonies. Prior to her time in the public sector, Taylor worked in life sciences compliance, which she credits with providing her a nuanced understanding of the business and regulatory pressures facing healthcare and bioscience-driven companies, as well as the importance of proactive risk management and internal investigations.

Taylor maintains an active pro bono practice, particularly in litigation for the rights of incarcerated youth. She has been recognized internally for her commitment to pro bono service and is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of legal professionals through her work with Discovering Justice.
