Bridget is a partner in our Litigation & Regulatory team. Bridget advises commercial organisations on legal risk and dispute resolution. She acts for international clients across a wide range of jurisdictions and industries, managing complex disputes through litigation, international arbitration, expert determination, mediation, and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.

Bridget returned to private practice in 2024, following 10 years in London as Executive Litigation Counsel at a leading US-headquartered multinational conglomerate, where she managed a broad portfolio of significant legal and regulatory matters across the UK, Europe, and APAC, working closely with C-Suite executives in the US and Europe. Bridget's extensive in-house experience gives her valuable insight into the into how commercial organisations operate, the pressures and challenges they face, and their legal and regulatory needs.

Bridget maintains a busy practice acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to her international clients. She is consistently praised by clients for her dedication, attention to detail, and careful strategic advice.

EXPERIENCE

  • Advising a bank and its foreign shareholder on high-profile legal and regulatory risks linked to certain mortgage products, including the design and implementation of a large-scale consumer remediation programme.*
  • Acting for a European bank in a multi-party European Commission investigation into third-party access to customer banking data in the CEE region.*
  • Representing a leading shipbroker in high-profile litigation before the Commercial Court in London, involving claims exceeding USD850 million, 150 parties and 37 witnesses.*
  • Advising a US-headquartered financial institution in a USD2 billion indemnity dispute with a major Japanese bank.*
  • Advising on a USD1 billion fraudulent misrepresentation claim brought by a government agency against a corporate defendant in the Commercial Court in London.*
  • Advising on a USD200 million tort claim in the Cayman Islands relating to a high-profile financial fraud.*
  • Advising a leading bank on a UK Financial Conduct Authority investigation into mortgage interest charges.*
  • Advising on a cross-border product liability dispute (valued over USD500 million) involving a leading aircraft manufacturer and issues under English, French and US law.*
