Mateusz Koszel has more than 10 years of experience in advising clients in the energy sector.

He provides support in RES transactions (e.g. PV farms, onshore and offshore wind farms, and electricity storage installations) and advises on regulatory matters, support schemes, the electricity capacity market, concessions, and the compliance of power companies with Polish law. He also conducts due diligence reviews of RES projects in Poland.

He has extensive experience in representing power companies in a variety of administrative proceedings conducted before the Minister of Energy, the President of the Energy Regulatory Office, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority and the Polish Power Exchange (TGE).

Mateusz is the co-author of the book "Energy Law. Energy efficiency. Commentary, Volume I", published by C.H. Beck (2023) and "Renewable Energy Sources. Electricity Capacity Market. Promoting energy from high-efficiency cogeneration and offshore wind farms. Commentary, Volume II" also published by C.H. Beck (2023).

He is a regular speaker at energy conferences and seminars.
