Nerea Cemlyn-Jones

Nerea is the head of the English law department at DLA Piper Spain. She has been involved in major financing transactions governed by English law in recent years within the financial and banking sector in Spain, advising both financial institutions and large companies/sponsors.

She has extensive experience in areas such as leveraged finance, asset finance (particularly ship finance), all types of project finance (including energy and real estate projects), all forms of corporate finance, and capital markets.

Nerea has developed her professional career at prestigious international law firms in London and Madrid, including a six-month secondment at the Legal Department of Bank of America in London.
