DLA Piper appointed as trustee in Jet Time bankruptcy proceedings

DLA Piper is advising Danish airline Jet Time A/S as the company filed for bankruptcy at the Maritime and Commercial Court in Copenhagen on 21 July 2020. The Court appointed DLA Piper’s Copenhagen-based Restructuring partner Henrik Sjørslev and Morten Hans Jakobsen, a partner at Gorrissen Federspiel, as joint bankruptcy trustees.

Due to the COVID-19 crisis, the airline’s fleet of 11 aircraft has been grounded since 23 March 2020 and 95% of its employees have been dismissed.
