Michael Lewis appointed to World Radiocommunication Conference Advisory Committee

Michael Lewis, a senior engineering advisor in DLA Piper's Telecom practice, has been appointed to the World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-23) Advisory Committee.

The committee will provide advice, technical support and recommended proposals for the 2023 conference, focusing in particular on the international frequency spectrum issues identified on the WRC-23 agenda.

Lewis is an engineer with broad experience in the regulation of the electromagnetic radio spectrum. After eight years with the Federal Communications Commission, where he served in various senior engineering policy positions overseeing the wireless and broadcast industries, he transitioned to private practice, where he helps equipment manufacturers, innovators and commercial service providers to bring new radio-based products and services to the US market.
