DLA Piper advises Abenex on the acquisition of a minority stake alongside the founders of the capital and voting rights of HTDS in a primary LBO

DLA Piper has advised Abénex, a major player in the mid-market private equity market in France, on the acquisition of a minority stake alongside the founders of the capital and voting rights of HTDS, a company specialized in the distribution and maintenance of high-tech detection systems in France and abroad, in a primary OBO completed during the summer.

Founded in 2002, HTDS is a French group specialized in the distribution and maintenance of high-tech detection systems in France and abroad.

With a presence in 14 countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East, the group is mainly active in the distribution and operational maintenance of detection systems, such as baggage and passenger scanners - notably for Orly. The group also sells medical equipment.

The DLA Piper team advising Abénex consisted in Partner Xavier Norlain supported by senior associates Laurent Asquin and Julien Burger on corporate aspects, partner Maud Manon with associates Pierre Tardivo and Yanniv Gilquel on the financing aspects, partner Fanny Combourieu with senior associate Louis-Augustin Jourdan on tax aspects and partner Edouard Sarrazin with senior associate Julie Brousseau on the antitrust aspect.
