DLA Piper moves to new premises in Amsterdam

At the end of 2023, DLA Piper’s Amsterdam office will be moving to the Strawinskyhuis, a building located at the heart of the city’s financial district, The Zuidas.

A long-term lease has been concluded with Strawinskyhuis B.V. for approximately 6,900 m² of office space. The building, which offers 9,100 m² and is located at Prinses Irenestraat 39-43, is being redeveloped by Flow Real Estate and Egeria Real Estate Development. During the process DLA Piper received commercial and technical advice from Cushman & Wakefield and Casper Schwarz will be supporting DLA Piper as the interior architect.

Paul Hopman, DLA Piper’s Country Managing Partner for the Netherlands, said: "The Strawinskyhuis is a world-class building where we can continue to grow and achieve our vision of becoming the leading global business law firm. ESG is one of our top priorities and that is why we have opted for the redevelopment of an existing building in line with the highest possible standards in the field of energy and sustainability. Opting for the Strawinskyhuis means we can offer our people a modern, comfortable place to work and interact. Our lawyers will be able to meet clients in an environment that exudes international allure. We are very much looking forward to the move."
