Lisa Glasband joins DLA Piper’s Litigation and Regulatory practice in Short Hills

DLA Piper announced today that Lisa Glasband has joined the firm’s Litigation and Regulatory practice as a partner based in Short Hills, New Jersey.

Glasband focuses on product liability, toxic tort, personal injury and professional liability, environmental, consumer fraud and insurance litigation on behalf of Fortune 500 companies in state and federal courts throughout the US. She has represented a number of consumer products companies in class action litigation brought under consumer protection and consumer fraud statutes, including the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act (NJCFA) and the New Jersey Truth-in-Consumer Contract, Warranty and Notice Act (TCCWNA).

“Lisa is a skillful litigator who brings extensive experience representing companies across a wide range of industries, including consumer products, life sciences and insurance,” said James Brogan, global co-chair of DLA Piper’s Litigation and Regulatory practice and US chair of Litigation. “Her ability to develop highly effective litigation strategies in matters involving complex medical and scientific issues will be tremendously beneficial to our clients.”

Glasband received her J.D. from Rutgers Law School and her B.A. from the University of Delaware.
