DLA Piper México represents Xinfra Fibra E, the first Fibra E of the year, in its first M&A transaction consisting in the acquisition of a majority stake in the Celaya Highway Project for approximately US$74 million

DLA Piper México represented Xinfra Fibra E in its acquisition of 90 percent of the capital stock of Concesionaria Bicentenario, S.A. de C.V. and 50 percent of Operadora Libramiento de Celaya, S.A. de C.V. The transaction is valued at approximately US$74 million (MX$1.4 billion).

 

Concesionaria Bicenterario holds a concession title for the rehabilitation, operation, preservation and maintenance of a beltway on the outskirts of the city of Celaya, in the State of Guanajuato, México. The acquisition was made with proceeds from the initial public offering of trust certificates for energy and infrastructure investment (Fibra E) issued on July 4, 2022.

Xinfra Fibra E is the first Fibra E of 2022, the first public offering altogether in the Mexican market in 12 months (excluding debt instruments), and the first Fibra E since 2018 (excluding rollovers).
