DLA Piper partner Barbara Trachtenberg receives 2023 Women in Real Estate award from Connect CRE

DLA Piper is pleased to announce that Barbara Trachtenberg, co-vice chair of the firm’s US Real Estate practice, received a 2023 Women in Real Estate Award in the Boston & New England category from Connect Commercial Real Estate. The award honors women “whose talent, drive, leadership and fresh ideas have helped them succeed and become influential in commercial real estate.”

Trachtenberg chairs DLA Piper’s Global Real Estate Summit, develops the firm’s Annual State of the Market Report and manages the firm’s semi-annual Real Estate Trends Report. She is an active member and past president of CREW Boston, as well as a member of the highly respected American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).

Trachtenberg is a trusted advisor to real estate investors, providing practical, business-oriented solutions in all aspects of real estate transactions. Her experience includes representing buyers and sellers of CBD office towers, hotels, office buildings, multifamily properties, mixed-use projects, data centers and life science assets; representing institutional investors and developer partners in joint venture acquisition, development and financing transactions; structuring transactions for long-term holds, including through ground lease and similar transactions; representing borrowers and institutional lenders in primary, secondary and mezzanine lending for all asset types; and representing landlords and tenants in leasing transactions of office, data center, retail, industrial and laboratory space.
