DLA Piper advises PrimeFlight on acquisition of GAT Airline Ground Support

DLA Piper advised PrimeFlight Aviation Services (PrimeFlight) in the acquisition of GAT Airline Ground Support (GAT), expanding the company’s ground handling service capabilities.

Texas-based PrimeFlight provides airlines and airports with ground handling, fueling, cargo handling, and other services, as well as general aviation aircraft cleaning and support services, across a global footprint. GAT operates at nearly 70 airports across North America, providing ground handling, cargo handling, and catering services.

The acquisition creates a single, diversified global aviation service provider that will operate at more than 250 airports and service locations across six continents.
