Five DLA Piper attorneys named to Variety’s 2026 Legal Impact Report

DLA Piper Partners Benjamin Mulcahy, Katherine Imp, Stacy Marcus, Michael Isselin, and Staci Trager have been named to Variety’s 2026 Legal Impact Report, an annual list honoring the entertainment industry’s top attorneys.

Variety highlighted DLA Piper’s counsel on deals across all aspects of the streaming marketplace, including M&A and investments in startup ventures, sports rights deals, and sponsorship and brand integration deals for blue-chip companies.

In the last year, DLA Piper guided marquee matters including the launch of Fox One, the expansion of HBO Max overseas, and Apple Inc’s promotions for “F1: The Movie,” as well as deals involving the Lego Group, Tom Brady’s Shadow Lion startup, and Matt Stone and Trey Parker’s Park County venture. The firm also represented the estate of the Notorious B.I.G. in various transactions last year, including Web3 streaming deals.

Marcus and Isselin were also highlighted for their representation of the advertising industry in commercial contract negotiations with SAG-AFTRA.
