Ankur Desai is an associate in the Washington, D.C. office of DLA Piper, where he focuses his practice on intellectual property litigation at the trial and appellate levels. He is a member of the Patent Litigation group.
Ankur has represented technology clients in patent and copyright matters, as well as trademark, incentive compensation, and employment disputes. He brings experience in computer science, mathematics, and data science to litigation in federal district and appellate courts, the International Trade Commission, and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board. Prior to joining the firm, Ankur was litigation counsel at Hewlett Packard Enterprise.
Ankur is a member of the Virginia State Bar and District of Columbia Bar, and he is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Western District of Texas and before the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
