10:00 – 11:15: Something to Report (A Lesson in Cross-Border Investigations).

This is a special interactive training session and screening of DLA Piper's training film, which depicts a corporation dealing with multiple issues: a distributor kickback scheme spanning multiple countries, whistleblower response protocol, compliance and internal audit failures, insufficient investigative resources, and the delicate balance of managing internal investigations, reporting requirements and stakeholder interests. This training session includes discussion and comments from the room after each segment to allow for open, dialogue about best practices and practical actions to take.

11:15 – 12:00: The "unknown unknowns" of ESG investigations Covering media sensitive issues, social media realities, conflicting regulatory obligations and compliance blindspots create a unique set of challenges when investigating alleged ESG breaches.
