Life Sciences News in Poland – February 2026

The regulatory environment for the life sciences sector remains dynamic and increasingly demanding. The last weeks of February brought further regulatory changes, decisions by national and EU authorities, and draft amendments that significantly affect the legal and operational risks faced by pharmaceutical companies, medical entities and pharmacies.

In the latest newsletter from the Life Sciences team, Andrzej Balicki, Ph.D., Jolanta Dąbrowicz and Urszula Grębowska discuss, among other things:

  • new guidelines for CPP certificates and changes in the rules for obtaining licences for pharmaceutical wholesalers,
  • decisions and recommendations of EU authorities regarding the safety of medicinal products,
  • proposed changes in the area of e-health and the practice of medical professions,
  • planned modifications to regulations concerning the advertising of pharmacies,
  • obligations of pharmacies related to prescription drugs, OTC drugs and vaccination reporting,
  • new import requirements for selected food raw materials.
