DLA Piper advises Sciforma and STG Partners on KeyedIn Solutions acquisition and refinancing

DLA Piper advised Sciforma, a French IT group and provider of Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) software on the acquisition of the US group KeyedIn Solutions, another leading name in the provision of PPM software.

Sciforma is part of the Symphony Technology Group (STG Partners) portfolio, a US investment fund specialized in software and technology. DLA Piper also advised on the related financing of the acquisition and the refinancing of the existing debt of both groups.

With this acquisition the Sciforma group becomes the global leader in PPM market. The group companies will share product innovation and advanced functionalities, including the development of more advanced Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) offerings and AI capabilities to address the challenges of increasingly competitive markets.

The cross-border transaction was led by the Paris office, in close collaboration with the San Diego, Luxembourg, New York, London, Leeds, Sheffield and Dublin offices. The DLA Piper team in France consisted of Sarmad Haidar (partner), Gertjan Dewilde and Antoine Gravier (associates) on corporate aspects, Sophie Lok (partner), Yanniv Gilquel and Matthieu Loonis (associates) on financing aspects and Raphaël Béra (partner) and Louis-Augustin Jourdan (associate) on tax aspects.

DLA Piper advised STG Partners on the acquisition of Sciforma in March 2021 and further advised Sciforma on the acquisition of One2Team in October 2021.
