  • Represented a cryptocurrency-based finance platform and its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York. 
  • Represented a venture-backed fashion retailer and their affiliates in their chapter 11 cases filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia. 
  • Represented an oil producer focusing on the acquisition, development, and production of oil, natural gas, and natural gas liquids in Colorado, and its affiliates in their chapter 11 cases filed in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. 
  • Represented a Texas-based exploration and production company and its subsidiaries in their prepackaged chapter 11 cases filed in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.
  • Represented a publicly-traded, multi-channel retailer specializing in home furnishings and décor and its subsidiaries’ in their chapter 11 cases in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Virginia.
  • Represented a fast-fashion retailer specializing in women and men’s fashion, jewelry, and accessories and its affiliates in their chapter 11 restructuring in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware.

Prior Experience

Prior to joining DLA Piper, Stephanie was a restructuring associate in the Chicago office of a large global law firm and a corporate counsel at a private corporation, specializing in distressed acquisitions. Stephanie served as an AmeriCorps VISTA member in Washington, D.C.
