Aldric de Clinchamps advises investors, fund managers and sponsors on the structuring and formation of alternative investment funds, through both regulated or non-regulated vehicles in Luxembourg.

He advises clients , on the legal, corporate and regulatory aspects of investment funds, supporting them from structuring through to launch and ongoing operations. Aldric has experience working on a range of fund structures, including co-investment vehicles and multi-compartment platforms, across strategies such as venture capital, technology, real estate and debt.

His practice also includes involvement in cross-border projects and investor negotiations, including with institutional investors and development finance institutions, as well as regulatory developments affecting fund structures.

EXPERIENCE

Aldric's relevant experience includes advising:

  • Viola Credit on the structuring, establishment, and launch of a Luxembourg special limited partnership, designed to invest primarily in venture capital-backed technology companies through senior secured, privately negotiated loans and equity warrant positions.
  • Alpha Intelligence Capital, a sponsor based in France, Hong Kong and Singapore on the structuring, setting up and negotiations of two co-investment vehicles for Alpha Intelligence Capital, co-investing alongside Alpha Intelligence Capital's Luxembourg-based investment fund.
  • An insurance and reinsurance group and its portfolio manager on the structuring, implementation and launch of two Luxembourg multi-compartments and multi-strategy reserved alternative investment funds (RAIF), mainly focused on real estate and debt assets.
  • Bridge Investment Group, a real estate investment management firm on the structuring, establishment and launch of several Luxembourg investment funds, co investing with its US based investment funds.
