DLA Piper advises on outsourcing of EUR17 billion portfolio

DLA Piper has advised Mount Street on the outsourcing of Dexia’s EUR17 billion bond portfolio along with a team of eight bond management experts. As part of the agreement, Mount Street Portfolio Advisers GmbH (MSPA), a regulated business, will undertake a range of services including asset management, trade execution, portfolio market data, valuation and evolution services, and strategic advisory services.

The portfolio comprises of several bonds, financial instruments, and credit products from a range of issuers in public finance, local municipality, utility, social housing, and related sectors across jurisdictions in Europe and North America.

A cross-practice team from DLA Piper’s Dublin office worked on the matter led by partner and Head of the IPT practice, Mark Rasdale and including legal directors Maria Fitzpatrick (IPT), Orla O’Leary (Employment), Brian Hunt (Lit&Reg), and senior associate Lorcan Moylan-Burke (IPT).
