EXPERIENCE

  • Advising Helios Investment Partners, an Africa-focused private investment firm, on the acquisition of Maroc Datacentre (MDC), Munisys and Medasys, creating 3MDC, a new digital infrastructure platform. The acquisition in collaboration with Fipar-Holding, a subsidiary of private equity firm, CDG Invest, aims to accelerate Morocco’s digital transformation and strengthen its position as a regional technology hub.
  • Advising Mediterrania Capital Partners on its investment in Dislog Dispositifs Médicaux through a MAD540m capital increase together with CDG Invest Growth.
  • Advising Africa50 and STOA in their joint investment in Mass Céréales Al Maghreb, a concessionaire and operator of grain port terminals.
  • Advising Africinvest, the Tunisian private equity firm, in the acquisition, through debt and equity, of Vantage Payment Systems (VPS), a payment solution company.
  • Advising Hop Lun (Hong Kong), a consumer goods food and retail business, on their acquisition of Tobago, a Moroccan clothing manufacturer as well as the acquisition Groupe Chantelle's, Morrocco operations, comprising its Famaco and Atma manufacturing facilities from Groupe Chantelle, the France based manufacturer of women's lingerie.
  • Advising CDG Invest Growth, a private equity fund, on an agreement to acquire a minority stake in Groupe Assiette Nordique, a renowned Moroccan player in the processing and distribution of seafood products. The transaction is subject to approval by Morocco's Competition Authority, the Conseil de la Concurrence.
