About

Krystle maintains a broad financial services practice with experience advising financial institutions, private lenders and borrowers on a diverse array of domestic and multijurisdictional financing transactions, including bilateral and syndicated financings, acquisition financings, securitization transactions and other areas of general banking and finance. 

Krystle received her Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa. While in law school, Krystle was a Dean’s Legal Research and Writing Fellow, a Teaching Assistant for Principles of Legal Research and a Legal Writing Leader for the Writing Academy. Krystle also acted as a Dispute Resolution Practicum Student, gaining in-depth and practical experience in dispute resolution processes and professionalism and leading training sessions for the first-year course, Dispute Resolution and Professional Responsibility. Prior to attending law school, Krystle earned a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University, where she specialized in Accounting and Actuarial and Financial Mathematics. 

Krystle leverages her strong academic background in finance and law to approach complex legal issues with an analytical lens and a clear understanding of financial and commercial implications. Krystle is committed to delivering exceptional client service that is practical, results-driven and tailored to each client’s strategic goals. Krystle strives to add value through clear communication and well-reasoned advice. 

Before joining DLA Piper, Krystle practised in the financial services group at a leading corporate, securities and business transaction law firm in Toronto.
