With extensive expertise in energy and environmental law, Jean-Philippe Minaud advises and litigates across all matters relating to renewable energy production, consumption, storage, and the broader energy transition.
He supports stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of renewable energy projects—whether hybrid or not—including solar, wind, biogas, and hydrogen. His practice encompasses development, financing, construction, operation, maintenance, modernization, and decommissioning. He is particularly well-versed in administrative authorizations, grid connection, energy sales, and project agreements.
Jean-Philippe regularly advises private operators and financial institutions on regulatory, contractual, and bankability matters. He has also developed recognized expertise in drafting, negotiating, and finalizing power purchase agreements (electricity, biogas, hydrogen) and downstream contracts (aggregation, optimization, flexibility, and participation in market mechanisms managed by the French TSO).
He holds advanced degrees in Public Business Law and Environmental Law from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne and Paris II Panthéon-Assas Universities, and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2015.
