Daniel wrote a dissertation concerning compliance risk management in M&A transactions (under review).

Daniel’s latest published papers concern the liability of notified bodies in EU-conformity assessments and the attribution of affiliate GDPR infringements in group scenarios (both written in collaboration with Prof Dr Michael Nietsch).

Prior Experience

Before joining DLA Piper, Daniel has worked for another international law firm (Corporate & M&A, Capital Markets). Prior to that he was a research assistant and lecturer at EBS Law School, Wiesbaden and worked for another law firm (insolvency law).
