DLA Piper adds Cary Nadelman to its Finance practice in New York

DLA Piper further expands its Finance practice with the addition of Partner Cary Nadelman in the Structured Finance subgroup. Cary is based in the New York office.

Nadelman’s practice focuses on the securitization of traditional and non-traditional assets with an emphasis on arrangers and asset managers on all aspects of broadly syndicated and middle market CLO transactions. In addition to CLOs, Nadelman has more than 20 years of experience with other asset classes including commercial mortgage-backed securities, marketplace loans, asset-backed commercial paper conduits, and collateralized debt obligations.

“CLO issuance has seen enormous growth over the last few years and that momentum is expected to accelerate in 2026,” said Richard Reilly, Co-Head of DLA Piper’s Structured Finance practice. “Cary’s depth of experience will be an advantage to clients navigating increasingly sophisticated structures.”

DLA Piper advises on all aspects of financing across borders, sectors and financial products. The firm’s lawyers advise issuers, underwriters, selling shareholders, sponsors, arrangers, lead managers, originators, dealers, trustees and depositaries on a broad range of capital markets offerings, including equity, equity-linked and debt securities, structured and project financings, and securitizations.
