  • Acting for a state-owned oil company in defending a major multi-million claim for damages raised in the Court of Session in Edinburgh over a contractual dispute, which had been ongoing for fifteen years, including previous arbitral proceedings, before representation was transferred to DLA Piper, having amassed approximately 300,000 documents in its lifetime.
  • Advising one of the world’s largest integrated telecommunications services operators in relation to its proposal to launch a payment services platform in 12 jurisdictions.
  • Advising a public body in carrying out a number of both statutory and non-statutory inquiries and investigations in relation to governance in the education sector, which attracted significant public interest.
