DLA Piper advises Whop in up to US$200 million Series C investment
DLA Piper advised Whop, a digital marketplace for creators, in an up to US$200 million investment by Tether Investments.
The investment is expected to accelerate Whop’s expansion and foster the creator economy by allowing Whop to develop state-of-the-art stablecoin infrastructure.
The DLA Piper deal team was led by Partner Tyler Hollenbeck (Seattle) and included Partners Nick Klein (Washington, DC) and Paolo Morante (New York), Of Counsel Nadia Asancheyev (Washington, DC), and Associates Michael Pirog, Luke Postma (both Seattle), and Chris Clark (Washington, DC).
