Stonepeak on its proposed acquisition of a majority controlling interest in Castrol from bp (the transaction values Castrol at an enterprise value of approximately USD10.1bn).
Shell on its acquisition of Nature Energy Biogas A/S, a Denmark based producer of Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) from waste with 14 operating plants and a pipeline of around 30 new plants in Europe and North America (USD2 billion).
C2X LTD, a leading developer of green methanol projects, on a USD 100 million combined investment by ENEOS Corporation, Japan’s leading energy company, and C2X’s existing shareholders, A.P. Moller Holding and A.P. Moller - Maersk.
Valeura Energy Inc (TSX listed) on its acquisition of a portfolio of producing interests located in the Gulf of Thailand by way of (1) its acquisition of KrisEnergy International (Thailand) Holdings Ltd and (2) the agreement to acquire the Thailand upstream oil producing portfolio of Mubadala Energy.
Dentsu Group Inc on its acquisition of the global omnichannel marketing production company Tag Worldwide Holdings Ltd (across 29 countries) from Advent International.
Philip Morris International Inc on its recommended cash offer for Swedish Match (USD16bn) (LMG Life Sciences Awards Impact Deal of the Year).
Shell on its acquisition of Daystar Power, Shell’s first power sector acquisition in Africa. Daystar Power operates in West Africa and provides solar power and battery solutions to business and industry. Our team was led by our London team and included our teams in Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal and Mauritius.
A consortium led by Energy Infrastructure Partners in respect of the largest on-shore wind park development in Europe (1 GW, located at Fosen in Mid-Norway in a joint venture with Statkraft).
