grEEn-campus Project: DLA Piper advises Stellantis/Opel on Project with VGP

Real estate developer VGP Group invests in Rüsselsheim.

This marks a significant advancement for Stellantis’ “grEEn-campus” project at the Rüsselsheim am Main location. By the middle of the decade, Stellantis will establish a CO2-neutral, green corporate headquarters: modern, efficient, friendly, and urban. Simultaneously, the VGP Group will invest in the remaining areas and initiate the first developments. The grEEn-campus stands as the centerpiece of the future Rüsselsheim Technology Park. VGP is a European owner, operator, and developer of high-quality real estate.

The VGP Group will invest in the so-called M, K, and P areas along Mainzer Straße and Bundesstraße 43 in Rüsselsheim. These areas constitute approximately two-thirds of the available spaces. The plans for developing the industrial areas closely align with the framework concept adopted by the Rüsselsheim City Council. Constructive discussions with the city regarding further area development will continue in the upcoming months. The parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality regarding the potential purchase price of the spaces.
