Claus Wenzler advises multinational and UK businesses across the full spectrum of competition law and foreign direct investment, with a particular focus on investigations and litigation.

Claus has acted for both claimants and defendants in over a dozen follow-on and standalone competition law damages claims, including collective proceedings, before the UK Courts, the Competition Appeal Tribunal and the General Court. He has advised on a number of cutting-edge competition disputes, including providing strategic advice to businesses facing bet-the-company competition law damages claims across multiple jurisdictions.

Claus' has experience advising on competition law issues and disputes across multiple industries, including petrochemicals, financial services, sports and media, manufacturing, and digital markets.

  • Defending a European petrochemicals company in relation to multiple follow-on cartel damages claims across Europe.*
